Shashikanth Malge is a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with over 8 years of experience in developing and executing recruitment plans within both agency and in-house settings. Currently serving as the Global Talent Acquisition Lead for Technology Hiring at American Express, he manages all phases of full cycle recruiting, from initial sourcing and screening through offer negotiations, placement, and onboarding. Shashikanth has a proven track record of creatively sourcing high-caliber candidates by leveraging recruiting software, social media, cold calling, and employee referrals. He has performed professional, technical, executive, and managerial recruiting across a range of industries, including skilled trades, project management, IT, finance and accounting, office/admin support, and marketing and sales. At American Express, Shashikanth is responsible for sourcing diverse candidates at all levels via job board niches, social media, strategic advertising, and community outreach. He has researched, developed, and implemented sourcing strategies for approximately 60-80 open requisitions and developed and strengthened relationships with hiring managers. In addition to leading a team of 3 recruiters by assigning and approving requisitions loads and mentoring on the best recruitment strategies, Shashikanth has also conducted 1-on-1 recruiting strategy meetings to describe the newest recruiting, turnover, and price market strategies for full life cycle recruitment practices. He is responsible for organizing and implementing strategic recruiting patterns and techniques to attract the most qualified technical consultants in the local and non-local markets and developing recruiting metrics and presenting information to the HR Director and Executive Management Team on a regular basis. Shashikanth's past experience includes managing the HR Operations team and the entire HR Service Center, Supervisor, multiple Team Leads, and Service Center Reps in supporting international employees with questions regarding benefits at Taggd. He has also managed vendor management programs enterprise-wide, vendor engagement, selection, contract negotiation, compliance, and communications. Shashikanth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services from Doddappa Appa Institute of Management. He also holds an MBA in HR from Appa Institute of Engineering and Technology and completed his schooling at Shantiniketan Primary and High School.
